Field Hydrological investigation
Our field hydrological investigation services include surface and groundwater sampling, surface water level and flow velocity monitoring, groundwater well installation, groundwater level monitoring, and groundwater well testing – including slug, pumping, and tracer testing.

Surface and groundwater modeling
We develop numerical models to predict flow and transport processes in surface and groundwater systems. Our team has expertise in using Models including HECRAS, MODFLOW, HydroGeosphere, and other custom-made simulation frameworks developed in-house.

Geotechnical Investigation
We also conduct soil sampling and in-situ testing to investigate soil properties. We employ both classical approaches including soil augering and core sample collection, soil compaction testing, and soil moisture monitoring. Our direct-push-based method also allows us to characterize the soil types, and their hydrological, geochemical, and geotechnical properties simultaneously. We combine geoelectrical sounding with hydraulic profiling, membrane interface probing, and other X-ray and Laser-based investigations.

Geophysical Imaging
Our team utilizes geophysical methods to obtain high-resolution images of the Earth’s subsurface to minimize the number of drillings and soil coring. Our teams’ geophysical expertise include [a] Electrical Resistivity and Induced Polarization, [b] Electromagnetics, [c] Refraction Seismic, [d] Magnetics, [e]Ground Penetrating Radar and [f] Gravity.

Soil Characterization and Monitoring
In-situ sensing and monitoring of contaminated sites using:
[1] Cone Penetration Testing / Electrical Conductivity Logging (geology) for lithology and soil-type investigation
[2] MIP / LIF / XRF for geochemical and contaminants content/distribution
– MIP (Membrane Interface Probe) – used for – VOC detection (CHC, BTEX)
– LIF (Laser Induced Fluorescence e.g. ROST, UVOST)
– used for Hydrocarbon-NAPL detection (fuels, tars)
– XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence) – used for heavy metal detection
